Lucy is the great grandaughter of Mary Tinneny of Galaduff.  She is one of 6 children, and the third daughter of Patrick M. Murray and Mary Kathleen O'Reilly of Newtownbutler, Co. Fermanagh, N. Ireland.   She was raised in Newtownbutler until the age of 10 and in 1956 the family emigrated to England.  In 1963 she married George F. Sherwood, they have two sons Paul Francis and Michael Gary, and four grandchildren John, Edward, Sara and Adam. After discovering her Tinneny ancestors some years ago she finds great reward in being part of the effort to further the ongoing collaboration of the numerous Tinneny families around the world.
