Anthony Farquhar was son of Brigid
Larkin and Alexander Farquhar and the grandson of Annie
Tinneny Larkin of Belturbet. County Cavan. He was born
in Belfast and ordained a Catholic priest March 13,
1965. On May 15, 1983, he was consecrated Titular
Bishop of Ermiana and Auxiliary Bishop of Down and Connor.
