Patrick Tinneny recently received the Army Achievement Medal
from Colonel Strickland the Commander of the 4th
Combat Training Brigade at Fort Jackson, South Carolina.
Pat, a civil service employee on the Fort, is a heavy
equipment operator. He was presented the medal for going
far above and beyond what was expected on a critical base
project. No stranger to the military, Pat served 4 years in
the United States Marine Corps and was a member of the
Security Forces aboard the aircraft carriers AMERICA and
SARATOGA.
Pat
is the son of Rich & Lee Tinneny of Columbia, SC and the
great-great grandson of
Yankee Pat Tinneny
of Goladuff,
County Fermanagh, Ireland and Philadelphia.
