Maxwell “Max” Tinneny was recently named to the 2nd team
National All American Scholars for Pop Warner
football. Only the top 2% of the 400,000 participants in
the Pop Warner Program Nationwide receive this honor.
Max
is a third year player and needed an academic average of 96
or better to compete for the honor. His team was 10 and 3
this year. A huge improvement over the previous two seasons
when his team won only 1 game each season. Max eats,
breathes, and sleeps football. He is waiting with baited
breath for the NFL draft at the end on April 2007.
He
and his family will be attending the awards ceremony and
banquet in Anaheim, CA on May 25 and 26.
Max
is the great-great-great grandson of
Yankee Pat Tinneny of
Goladuff, Co. Fermanagh, Ireland, Greenock, Scotland and
Philadelphia. He is the son of Brian and Heather Tinneny of
Chalfont, Pennsylvania.
