Michael Tinneny and Jim Schombs

Michael Tinneny of Queens, New York played a big part in giving former Navy Seal Jim Schombs an important piece of his life back. Mike was a sales consultant with Haus of Trikes & Bikes in Fort Myers, Florida. Jim had a stroke in 2001 and thought his motorcycle riding days were over. In 2019 he went to HT&B where he met with Mike. It was obvious Jim’s limitations were huge obstacles to him riding again, however, Mike was confident a trike could be made to accommodate Jim’s disability and the HT&B team made it happen.

Michael was the son of Philip Tinneny and Doreen Weismantel of Queens, New York; grandson of Philip and Mary O’Sullivan Tinneny who were born in Ireland and immigrated to New York and great-grandson of Robert and Elizabeth Murphy Tinneny of Carrigallen, Co. Leitrim, Ireland.
