Terrence “Terry” Tinneny, son of John and Helen Diamond Tinneny of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, received his First Holy Communion at Holy Family Catholic Church in the Manayunk section of Philadelphia about 1949. Terry was the grandson of James and Gertrude Spence Tinneny of Philadelphia and the great-grandson of Patrick “Yankee Pat” Tinneny of Goladuff, Newtownbutler, County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland, Greenock, Scotland and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
