Sally, the daughter of Joseph and Isabella “Pat” McColgan Kemp of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; graduated from John W. Hallahan Catholic Girls’ High School, Philadelphia class of 1960.      

Sally was the granddaughter of John and Mary Jane Tinneny McColgan and great-granddaughter of Patrick “Yankee Pat” Tinneny of Goladuff, Newtownbutler, Co. Fermanagh, Northern Ireland and his wife Margaret Malloy.
