Howard Joseph Cossabone Jr

Howard completed his elementary education at his parish school, Saint John the Baptist Grade School, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He then went on to graduate from Saint John’s High School with the class of 1949. Three years later he entered the United States Army and served in combat during the Korean Conflict.

Howard was the son of Howard and Elizabeth Tinneny Cossabone Sr. of Philadelphia; grandson of John and Alice McCouch Tinneny of Philadelphia and the great-grandson of Patrick “Yankee Pat’ Tinneny of Goladuff, Newtownbutler, County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland, Greenock, Scotland and Philadelphia and his wife Margaret Malloy.
