OBITUARY

Donna Jean Myers

1947 - 2009

Donna J. Myers, 62, of Frazer, died on July 14, 2009, due to complications from a pulmonary embolism.

She was the daughter of the late George and Mary Yeakel Myers.

She was a supervisor at Friendly's Restaurant in Frazer for many enjoyable years.

Donna loved working with animals, especially horses. "Capital Gain," a 1984 Devon Horse Show champion, enjoyed a safe shelter and Donna's loving compassion in his retirement years.

She enjoyed being outdoors on her family farm.

She is survived by her sisters, Marlynn J. Myers of Frazer and Rosemary M. Silva of Westtown; her aunt, Jean J. Yeakel; her nephews, Rick Silva Jr. and Kevin Silva; her niece, Jen Silva Donohue; two great-nephews, Henry and Mark Silva; and one great-niece, Holland Silva. 

A funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, July 20, at St. Patrick's Church in Malvern. 

Calling hours are after 9 a.m. Monday at The Donohue Funeral Home, 1627 West Chester Pike (Hilltop Road), Westtown-West Chester. 

Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, West Conshohocken.

Donna was the granddaughter of Joseph and Rose Tinneny Yeakel of Belmont hills, Pennsylvania and great-granddaughter of Patrick “Yankee Pat” Tinneny of Goladuff, Newtownbutler, County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland and his wife Margaret Malloy.
