OBITUARY

Robert Tinneny, Sr.

1945 - 2025

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Robert Tinneny, Sr., a cherished father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend on December 4, 2025, at the age of 80.

Robert was a devoted father to his children: Robert Jr. (Colleen), Melissa Ford (Joseph), Holly (Will), and Jennifer (Kevin). He took immense pride in being a grandfather to Joelene (Chris), Robert III, Jenna (Quan), Bryan, Damian (Ashley), Robin, Michael (Sierra), and Conor. His legacy continues with his great-grandchildren: John, Peyton, Nahyir, Nathan, Quinn, Chase, and soon, precious Paisley.

He was loved immeasurably by his family and will be deeply missed by his sister Betty Thummel, and many beloved nieces and nephews. Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Mary Tinneny, his step-father Bob Firth, and his siblings, Joseph, Maryann Long, John, Eileen Mullen, Doris Janson, and Joyce Kresge.

A machine operator at Canada Dry-Pepsi for over 36 years, Robert was a hardworking man who dedicated his life to providing for his family. A passionate sports enthusiast, he was an avid Phillies fan who delighted in sporting his Phillies gear and attending games. He enjoyed family game nights, often engaging in light-hearted rivalry, proving that spending time with loved ones was what he cherished most.

Robert had a knack for collecting coins and was known for being a saver but never hesitated to lend a helping hand to those in need. He had a playful spirit, often placing small bets and indulging in scratch-off lottery tickets, bringing a spark of joy to his everyday life.

The family will hold a Viewing on December 10, 2025 starting at 10:00 AM at Koller Funeral Home, 6835 Ridge Ave. A Funeral Service to celebrate Robert's remarkable life will follow at 12:00 PM. Interment is private.

As we remember Robert, we honor his spirit of kindness, humor, and unwavering love for his family. He has left a lasting impact on all of our lives, and though he is no longer with us, his memory will live on in our hearts.
