OBITUARY

Joseph F. Dalton

1943 - 2026 

Joseph F. Dalton, 82, of Harleysville, died Monday, February 9, 2026.  He was the cherished husband of Marie (Glodeck) Siddal Dalton. 

Born February 19, 1943 in Shenandoah, PA he was a son to the late Joseph E. and Isabel (Riley) Dalton. 

As a member of Corpus Christi Church, Joseph lived his faith through action.  His commitment to community was evident when he served as the president of Walnut Meadows Community and lead the veterans activity.  Joseph proudly served his country as a member of the United States Air Force.  His military service was a source of pride which instilled values of discipline and leadership.

Joseph also was an avid Philadelphia Phillies fan, faithfully sharing in the highs and lows of each season with friends and family.  Those who knew him will remember his unwavering presence to those he loved. 

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Brian Dalton (Amy); his stepsons, Jeffrey Siddal (Alyssa), Steven Siddal; his sister, Molly Dalton; and his brother, Richard Dalton (Suzanne).

He is predeceased by his first wife, Susan Dalton and his brother, Frank Dalton. 

Services are pending and will be updated in the near future. 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made in Josephs memory to the Wounded Warrior Project

Arrangements are by the Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, Lansdale, PA.

Joseph’s first wife Susan was the daughter of Edward and Mary Tinneny Haughey of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; granddaughter of James and Gertrude Spence Tinneny of Philadelphia and the great-granddaughter of Patrick Yankee Pat” Tinneny of Goladuff, Newtownbutler, County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland, Greenock, Scotland and Philadelphia and his wife Margaret Malloy.
