George Frederick Tinneny

George was the youngest son of William and Mary Ellen
McShane Tinneny of Belturbet, County Cavan, Ireland and
London, England. He was raised in London and served in
the Home Guard in World War Two. Due to his young age he
was not eligible to be sent out of the country into
combat.

Belturbet, County Cavan; great-grandson of Francis
and Anne Elliott Tinneny of
Belturbet and great-great-grandson of Thomas
Tinneny of
Goladuff, Newtownbutler, County Fermanagh, Northern
Ireland. |
