Anne Tinneny H39

Anne Tinneny was born at Goladuff about 1897.  She was the third child and first daughter of James Tinneny and Mary Ann McEntyre.  Her brother Phil remembered that when she died Tommy Anderson came to Phil's father and gave him the news of her death and then they brought her home.  Annie had died young of appendicitis in Dublin.  Phil and one of his brothers went to Newtownbutler and took the train from there to Dublin to bring Annie’s body home.  They returned with her by train to Newtownbutler.  She was brought to the cemetery at Drummully in the snow and was buried there in the Tinneny plot.
