Marie Veronica Sickinger was the fourth and youngest child of Catherine Tinneny and Michael Sickinger. Marie was born at the family home on Maple Street in West Manayunk. She attended Saint Mary's School and Church. Marie died young of a ruptured spleen, the result of a horseback riding accident. She had not married. Marie is buried with her mother and father in the Sickinger plot at Saint Mary's Cemetery in Roxborough.
