Ashley Tinneny

Ashley, the daughter of Keith and Robin Prowell Tinneny of Waxhaw, North Carolina, was inducted into the Junior Beta Club at Parkwood Middle School on June 3, 2924. Ashley will begin the 8th grade in the fall. The National Beta Club is an organization for 4th through 12th grade students in the United States. Its purpose is "to promote the ideals of academic achievement, character, leadership and service among elementary and secondary school students.”

Ashley is the granddaughter of John and Alice Hickey Tinneny formerly of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; great-granddaughter of James and Margaret Casey Tinneny of Havertown, Pennsylvania; great-great-granddaughter of James and Gertrude Spence Tinneny Sr. of Philadelphia and the great-great-great-granddaughter of Patrick “Yankee Pat” Tinneny of Goladuff, Newtownbutler, Co. Fermanagh, Northern Ireland, Greenock, Scotland and Philadelphia and his wife Margaret Malloy.
